There was a bronchoscopy yesterday to try and determine what, if anything, is causing the cloudiness shown on the CT scan of Larry's lung and we're anxious for the results. We are very hopeful that there will be no signs of infection and the chemo can begin. Meanwhile, Larry is in a great deal of pain and they have him on quite a bit of pain medication. Josh and Justin are anxious for him to get home and feeling well enough to share some of his hallucinations with him! He is traveling extensively (mentally, anyway), and seems to travel by ship most of the time. We aren't making fun of him, but we have to find humor just to ease the tension.

We appreciate the phone calls and cards that he continues to receive. Most of all we are thankful for the prayers. Please continue!

Please know that we are continuing to pray for all of you! I think Larry would be very happy to know that you are finding some humor in order to relive the tension - he wouldn't want it any other way!

Love you all so much! You're in our prayers!

Terri, the guys in Charlotte are keeping your family in our thoughts. Just like you, we are hoping for a speedy recovery. If you can, let Larry know we are pulling for him. We wish the best for you and your family.

Strange... as much as he loves airplanes, I would have thought he'd be in his own King Air! :) Seriously... Terri, I know this is not an easy thing to go through. We're all thinking about you, and tell Larry that "Events" misses him dearly... and to hurry up and get back here - we need help keeping Paul in line (He'll know what I mean!)

T-

I check your blog daily for updates on Larry. It just doesn't seem real that this is happening! Definitely a faith-building time, and I know how difficult it must be not to question God's wisdom. He sees the top of the tapestry--we see the tangled underside.

You are all in our prayers. Give our love to Larry.

(Sorry that my name comes up as "aunt linda"--I signed up a while ago to respond to the blogs of a couple of my nieces in PA.)

When I was in the hospital with my cancer, I thought I was an astronaut walking on the moon. I definitely know what you mean by finding the humor in things like that. But, I remember going through a lot of the things that you all are going through - it's not easy at all. Your family, and especially Larry of course are being lifted up to Jesus constantly. I've asked several networks of friends to pray for him. I know this has to be extra hard on your boys. If there's anything we can do for you or the boys please let us know.
