It's the afternoon on Friday and althought he is still in a coma, he does hear what is being said. Larry is still surrounded by many loved ones and also being visited by those he works with. Larry even gave a little wave to his grand daughter and to one of his good friends at work. Although he is in and out he is fighting to respond and I think he feels he needs to entertain the folks that are with him.

Terri,

Sally and I are praying for Larry, you and the boys every day. We have been praying for healing for Larry and for peace and strength for you and your family.

Sometimes it's hard to accept that even though someone we loves passes from us, they receive God's ultimate healing. I pray that God will pour out His spirit on you and that you will be wrapped in His love and the peace that passes all human understanding.

We are also praying that you will find the resolve you need as you face this stressful time.

I know that you are asked this all the time, but if Sally or I can do anything, please know that we are just one phone call away.

Terry,

Larry will want to know that prayers went up on his behalf at the bi-annual hiking trip. We spoke of the one time he joined us at Badin lake for the weekend sometime in the early '80's. What a weekend!!!
Please let him know that Carolyn and I are praying for all of you. We pray for divine healing for him and strength for all of you to get you thru this time. We will continue to pray for God's will, and Gods outpouring of his Love on all those surrounding Larry at this time.

Terri, Josh, Justin, Larry and family,

We too are praying for you all at such a hard uncertain time! I am always comforted to know that the Lord understands all of our emotions at a time like this. He understands the fear, anger, hurt and loss and He doesn't mind if we tell Him about it!

We have also spent time talking about trips, youth functions and work related memories! Of course there are too many to name here, but know that all of them bring smiles and laughter!

Love you guys so much!

Terri,
We are all praying for you and the family.

I woke up several times during the night with you guys on my heart. I prayed for you each time. I have this pit in my stomach but at the same time am comforted knowing that Larry will pass into the arms of his Lord and Savior. I know that this comforts you all too.

We have such great memories of you and Larry and all of them put a smile on my face. Most memories of Larry make me laugh actually. What a crazy man! You and Larry are two of the best people I know.

We love all of you and pray that you will have peace during this time and the days to come.

Terri,

Glenn & I are in High Point & would love to stop by and at least see you & the boys, if it'll be too much for Larry. Of course, we are staying at David & Holly's, but my cell number (which I left with Ginger's husband yesterday) is 423.762.7250. We will be here until sometime tomorrow (Sunday).

Much love & prayers for you all!

Linda

Terri -

Julie and I are floored to hear of Larry's illness. We are so very sorry you all are going through this. Know that we are praying for miraculous healing for Larry but ultimately for God to be glorified in the midst of the storm. We are also praying for you and the boys.

Larry influenced me in a powerful way as I was growing up. The Lord used men like Larry and Paul to work in my life and prepare me for His plan and His purpose. I am forever grateful for the people God has placed in my life.

We love you both and are praying for you,
Kel and Julie Cunard

Terri,
You don't know me but I am a client of Larry's and worked with him for an event in December in Atlanta. I just want you to know that Larry was one of those very special people who I was able to connect with immediately and made me feel not only a client but a friend. He was such a joy to work with and I am so sorry to hear this news. I just lost my Mom in February to uterine cancer so I know how difficult these times are for you and your family. Please know that you are in my prayers.

On behalf of myself and others that Larry worked with on the Dead Sea Scrools to The Bible in America Exhibit, I want to send our prayers and thanks to Larry and his family.
Personally I am sad and will miss Larry, but from many long hours of travel and conversation with Larry I do know he will be passing into the arms of Jesus the Christ.
In addition, on behalf of those we serve at Special Visit Ministry (www.specialvisit.org) I want to honor Larry and his family for loaning him, his time and his energy as he helped us grow and minister to others.
For those who may not know, we were honored to have Larry as a Minister with us as we visited hundreds of men and women who are forgotten and without hope.
In sadness, and joy,
Rev. Thom Miller, Administrator

Precious Terri, Josh, Justin and families:

Thank you for your faithfulness in loving Larry and in holding up his arms as his strength is failing. My heart is crying out to the Father to be merciful to Larry and relieve him from pain and discomfort as he is being prepared for his graduation day.

"...Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior...Do not fear; for I am with you..." ISAIAH 43:1b-5a

Please tell your mother that I did call Betty Phillips. The prayer group at Hayworth has been praying for Larry and your family for weeks...you all have been covered by many who know Larry and love you all.

I love you and am praying for you all and of course for precious Larry. May the Lord just cradle Larry in His loving arms and gently carry him into Heaven. And may the Father who cares so immensely for all of you give you rest, peace, and strength for today and all of your tomorrows.

Terri and kids,

31When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

32All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats;

33And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.

34Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you [g]favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

35For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you [h]brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and [i]lodged Me,

36I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me [j]with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.

37Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?

38And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You?

39And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?

40And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [[k]in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.

I have heard that Larry gave much to many, but I personally witnesses him VISIT IN PRISON as Jesus mentioned in Matthew 25:36.
God's promise is that Larry shall inherit what is listed in matthew 25.

Your friend
Thom Miller
